We need an experienced electrician or electrical troubleshooter to find and map damaged wiring in a residential home after vandalism. The drywall is finished and we want to keep it that way. We're looking for someone who can trace circuits and find faults from the outside, not open up walls to look. What you'll do: Test every circuit and figure out which outlets, switches, fixtures and appliances are dead, partly working or unsafe Trace each line from the panel to its endpoints and find where the break, short or cut is behind the wall Use tools like a circuit tracer, tone generator, thermal camera, insulation resistance tester or inspection camera to pinpoint faults Mark exact fault locations so any repair needs only a small access hole, not a whole wall removed Write up a simple list: each circuit, what's wrong, where it is, and the recommended fix Do the repairs yourself if you're able to (preferred, not required) What we're looking for: Solid residential electrical troubleshooting experience; you've found hidden faults before Owns or can bring tracing and testing equipment Careful, methodical and tidy, since this is a finished home Reliable transportation A license is not required, as long as you can show you know the work
