The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential electrical work, with experience in renovation and construction projects. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work with various electrical systems, including high and low voltage. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with NEC standards. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects to ensure timely completion. Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues. Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial or residential settings. Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems. Strong understanding of NEC regulations and safety standards. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Experience in renovation projects is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Previous construction site experience is a plus. Maintenance Person experience is beneficial but not required. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
