Position Summary:

The Maintenance Electrician is a member of the Maintenance Team reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisors/Shift Leaders. The Maintenance Electrician ensures operation of production machinery and electrical equipment by troubleshooting, performing repairs and preventive maintenance in an effective, efficient and safe manner.

Required Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience working as an Electrician in an industrial manufacturing or similar environment Efficient in sizing conductors, conduits and using NEC Code Book Experienced in handling low to high voltage up to 480 VAC Experience with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and programming of VFD's Experience with troubleshooting PLC's Ability to troubleshoot and repair motor control centers (MCC) and all circuit protection devices Diagnose and apply results using: Voltmeters, ammeters, IR and megger

Ability to become qualified to operate lifting equipment (Fork Truck, Ariel lift, Etc.) Intermediate to advanced computer skills Highly motivated and self-directed Familiar with current Arc Flash regulations

Have the ability to climb stairs and ladders Able to work in all weather conditions Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Willing and able to work overtime hours during the week, weekends and/or holidays as needed Position may require employee to work around and troubleshoot energized equipment
