Duties Install, inspect, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues swiftly. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring work safely in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Conduct routine maintenance on industrial electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage control circuits. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety procedures, and NFPA 70 standards to maintain a safe working environment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation, repair, and renovation tasks on construction sites or existing facilities. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC regulations, and local electrical codes. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately. Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and repairing complex issues. Ability to work safely with high-voltage wiring and adhere to all electrical safety procedures. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low-voltage systems, and industrial electrical systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment. Construction site experience including renovation projects or new installations; handyman skills are a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
