Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including low voltage systems and industrial applications. This role involves working on construction sites, performing renovations, and collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Work with low voltage systems and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics using an ohmmeter and other testing equipment. Collaborate with construction teams to build and renovate structures while integrating electrical systems. Ensure that all work is performed according to local codes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Skills Proficient in electrical installation techniques, including low voltage wiring. Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in electrical work. Experience as an industrial electrician with a focus on safety practices. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. Familiarity with frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other tradespeople.
