This role requires hands-on expertise in electrical layout, material coordination, and system installation, with a strong emphasis on leadership, mentorship, and code compliance. Key Responsibilities Interpret architectural drawings, electrical single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics. Lead and manage electrical field crews through all phases of work, from rough-ins to trim-outs. Snap out reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) and accurately lay out all electrical systems. Coordinate materials lists and weekly purchase orders based on plans and field conditions. Ensure all work complies with NEC, CEC, and local building codes. Mentor apprentices and junior electricians to develop team skills and maintain high standards. Oversee installation of panel boards, switchgear, motor controls, solar systems, generators, and batteries. Support site safety, cleanliness, and organization per company policy. Communicate proactively with project management and field teams. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of journeyman-level electrical experience in residential and/or commercial construction. Proven ability to read and interpret construction and electrical plans. Strong understanding of wire and conduit sizing, single and three-phase systems, and complex electrical layouts. Experience with layout planning, material takeoffs, and team coordination. Solid leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring others. Reliable, punctual, and drug-free with a clean DMV record. Proficiency in English required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
