We are looking for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot effectively, communicate professionally with customers, and take pride in doing quality work. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to work on a variety of commercial and residential electrical projects. What You'll Do Perform electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Diagnose electrical issues and determine the appropriate repair or solution. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, switches, outlets, lighting, and equipment. Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and schematics. Perform electrical work in accordance with applicable codes and safety requirements. Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify faulty components. Complete service calls and communicate professionally with customers. Provide accurate job notes, documentation, and photos through our field management system. Maintain a clean and organized work area, vehicle, and tools. Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment. Coordinate with plumbing, HVAC, and other field personnel when working on multi-trade projects. Identify additional work opportunities and communicate potential repairs or upgrades to management. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Represent Clear Water Mechanical professionally at every job site. What We're Looking For Journeyman Electrician experience required. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and installation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of electrical safety and applicable codes. Ability to read blueprints, plans, and electrical schematics. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Professional communication and customer service skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and work in various job-site conditions. Must have your own basic hand tools. Ability to use a smartphone/tablet for job documentation and communication. Preferred Qualifications Commercial electrical experience. Service and troubleshooting experience. Experience with generators, motors, controls, lighting, panels, and equipment connections. Experience working alongside plumbing and HVAC trades. Experience using ServiceTitan or another field-service management system. California electrical certification/licensing applicable to the position.
