Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute electrical work aligned with project specifications. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring installations safely in accordance with NFPA 70 standards and local electrical codes. Diagnose complex electrical issues within industrial systems using advanced troubleshooting techniques including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation devices. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures and implement corrective actions promptly. Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures during all phases of work to prevent accidents or injuries on construction sites or renovation projects. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Skills Extensive experience working as an electrician in industrial and commercial environments with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Proven ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, clamp meters, and multimeters. Knowledge of local electrical codes including NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements for safe wiring practices. Experience with high-voltage wiring installations and low-voltage control systems within industrial settings. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), automation controls, and troubleshooting related control circuits. Ability to work effectively on construction sites or renovation projects while maintaining safety protocols. Skilled in using hand tools like wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers as well as power tools necessary for heavy-duty electrical work. Strong understanding of NFPA 70 compliance standards for all electrical installations. Ability to read electrical schematics accurately and translate them into practical wiring solutions. Experience in performing maintenance on commercial electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage networks.
