Woodworking Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine electrical requirements for construction or renovation projects
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as framers and carpenters, to ensure proper installation of electrical components during construction or renovation projects
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements
  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure they are functioning properly and safely
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations while working on job sites
Skills:
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage systems
  • Experience in bending conduit and working with different forms of conduit
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues

Please note that this position requires a valid journeyperson electrician license. Summary The Journeyman Electrician position requires a skilled individual with a strong background in electrical systems and carpentry. The ideal candidate will possess core skills such as proficiency with hand and power tools, knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), and experience working with low voltage systems. Premium skills including familiarity with programmable logic controllers, industrial and commercial electrician experience will be highly valued. Additionally, relevant skills in blueprint reading, high voltage systems, renovation, and construction will be beneficial for success in this role. A valid electrical license is required, and experience in frame carpentry and handyman tasks will be advantageous. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
