In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations that meet all safety standards and codes. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in new construction or renovation projects. Conduct thorough inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues before they escalate. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and project timelines. Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance and future reference. Assist in training apprentices or junior electricians as needed to promote team development. Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification recognized by the state or local authority. Proven experience working as a licensed electrician in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and best practices. Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues. Physical ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform manual tasks safely. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively.
