In this energized role, you will install, troubleshoot, and maintain photovoltaic (solar) systems in commercial settings, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Your expertise will help accelerate the transition to sustainable energy solutions while working on diverse construction sites, including rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to onshore renewable energy projects with a focus on electrical safety, high-quality craftsmanship, and environmental impact. Duties Install photovoltaic solar systems according to electrical blueprints and schematics, ensuring adherence to NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 compliance standards Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for system layout and wiring configurations Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex solar power systems using voltmeters, multimeters, and other hand tools Conduct high voltage and low voltage wiring installations safely on commercial rooftops or ground-mounted sites Use ladders, scaffolding, and other construction equipment to access installation areas safely and efficiently Ensure all electrical work complies with safety procedures, including

standards for electrical safety in outdoor environments Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure timely completion of photovoltaic system installations and upgrades Skills Extensive experience working as a commercial electrician with a strong background in photovoltaic system installation Proficiency reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for accurate wiring and system layout Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and multimeters Knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) wiring practices specific to solar power systems Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements and

safety standards for electrical work in outdoor environments Experience working on construction sites with roofing or outdoor installation environments; roofing experience is a plus Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, scaffolding safely, and efficiently during installation projects Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures specific to renewable energy projects and construction sites Capable of reading electrical blueprints accurately to ensure precise system setup and fixture installation Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues within photovoltaic systems quickly and effectively Embark on a career that energizes the future!
