No teaching experience is required, you just have to have a desire to help the younger generation start their careers. Our experienced teaching staff and faculty with well over 100+ years in the industry will assist you to develop your own unique teaching style. Don't worry, you will still get to work with the tools in our state of the art lab. Job duties include but not limited to: Teach students the essentials to be successful commercial electricians Able to teach various lab topics including: switching, motor controls, fire alarm, wire pulling, bending conduit, transformers, and switchgear. Scheduling all labs and ordering related equipment Maintain relationships with students to assist them on their career paths. Following the lesson plan and curriculum provided on topics including but not limited to; NEC code, electrical theory (AC and DC), motor controls, fire alarm, conduit bending, power generation, tel/data, plan reading, etc. Wage and benefit package is commensurate with the construction industry, DOE.
