About the Industrial Electrician Role Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring an Industrial Electrician in Sacramento, CA 95814. In this full-time, direct-hire role, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical distribution systems, automation systems, lighting, and related equipment at an industrial facility. Pay is $36.00 to $45.00 per hour. Industrial Electrician Responsibilities Install and connect power supply wiring and conduit for lighting, general devices, newly installed machines, and building equipment. Troubleshoot and support production controls and automation components. Diagnose malfunctioning equipment such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels and circuits, variable frequency drives, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged parts, broken wires, cables, and connections. Maintain electrical distribution equipment, including 3-phase 4-wire 277/480 VAC, 3-phase 4-wire 120/208 VAC, and single-phase 3-wire 120/240 VAC systems. Replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards, relays, contactors, and control buttons. Maintain building, task, parking lot, emergency, and exit lighting, 120-volt outlets, photoelectric eyes, and lighting contactors controlled by the energy management system. Plan wiring layouts and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus per the National Electrical Code (NEC). Perform preventive maintenance on electrical utilities and equipment rated 480 volts or less. Complete accurate and timely paperwork, and keep the shop area and service van clean and organized, including inventory control, tool maintenance, and calibration of test equipment. Perform quality control using the NEC, local codes, safety regulations, and company standard practices.
