Electrician - North County San Diego / San Diego About the Position We're looking for a dependable, experienced Electrician to join our team and work on projects throughout North County San Diego and the greater San Diego area. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and understands that doing electrical work the right way means doing it safely, correctly, and to code. Our projects include residential, multi-family, and commercial construction, along with remodels, maintenance, and electrical upgrades. If you're comfortable reading plans, troubleshooting electrical problems, working with other trades, and taking ownership of your work, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects. Read and follow blueprints, electrical plans, schematics, and project specifications. Install wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, disconnects, fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components. Perform electrical rough-in and finish work for new construction, remodels, and multi-unit projects. Use electrical meters and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve issues. Work safely and in accordance with NEC requirements and job-site safety standards. Coordinate with framers, plumbers, HVAC technicians, general contractors, and other trades. Identify potential issues in the field and communicate solutions with the project team. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Complete work accurately, efficiently, and with a high standard of quality. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a residential, multi-family, or commercial electrician. Solid understanding of electrical systems and NEC requirements. Ability to read and understand electrical plans, blueprints, and schematics. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Construction experience with a strong commitment to safety. Ability to work well with other trades and communicate effectively with the project team. Understanding of framing and how electrical installations fit into the construction process. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member. Reliable transportation and ability to travel between local job sites.
