Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs safely and efficiently. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation and control functions. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues and ensure proper operation. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and general handyman tasks related to electrical work. Follow all safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, schematics updates, and compliance documentation. Experience Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. Hands-on experience working on construction sites involving renovation or new installations. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage systems, and low voltage wiring is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment essential for electrical troubleshooting. Previous experience in frame carpentry or general construction enhances your ability to collaborate effectively on diverse projects. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail ensure quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
