About us Esquared Electric Inc is a local, family-owned electrical contractor. Our team is committed to providing the best electrical services in the area. We work both commercial and residential jobs, primarily in the greater Sonoma County area. We strive to cultivate an engaging environment based on strong communication, dedication, and collaboration. We encourage growth and support each other to thrive. We are looking for a "self-starter" to join the team as a lead technician in the field as part of our rapidly expanding Service department. We are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment to be the connection between service and contract work. A background in Electrical services is required. Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Residential Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential electrical service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of electricians, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget, and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of electricians, including scheduling work assignments, providing training, and ensuring that work is completed to the highest quality standards. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring that all work is completed to the satisfaction of the client. Manage the financial performance of the department, including developing and monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that project timelines are met and that all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies and regulations, and ensuring that all team members are trained on safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including billing, payroll, and project documentation. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies, and make recommendations for process improvements and new equipment or tools.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, as well as safety procedures and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Knowledgeable about breaker and electrical panel wiring required Must be familiar with power tools and comfortable on ladders Ability to bend pipe and complete homerun circuits Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues Ability to Read Plans/Interpret Schematics Ability to lift 50lbs Must possess own handtools, basic cordless tools, wearable tool belt If you have the qualifications and experience listed above, and are looking for an exciting opportunity to serve your community, we encourage you to apply for this position.
