Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues quickly and efficiently. Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety) standards and local electrical codes during all work activities. Troubleshoot electrical systems on construction sites or renovation projects, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, panel installation, and system upgrades. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial automation systems, or high-voltage systems. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes. Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems efficiently using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints accurately. Experience working with low voltage systems, high-voltage wiring, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and automation controls. Familiarity with construction site procedures, renovation projects, and general handyman skills related to electrical work. Strong commitment to electrical safety procedures to prevent hazards during installation or repair activities.
