This role involves working on various NEW construction sites, ensuring that electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired according to industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics, along with hands-on experience in the field. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Conduct tests using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to maintain safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proficient in frame carpentry with the ability to build structures as needed. Strong knowledge of voltmeter usage for testing electrical circuits. Experience as a maintenance person with a broad skill set in construction tasks. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures. Competence in using various power tools essential for electrical work. Understanding of NEC regulations and standards for electrical installations. Previous experience as an industrial electrician is a plus.
