Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and appliances in residential settings in accordance with electrical codes and safety procedures. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installation and repair tasks. Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently. Perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely on residential or low-voltage systems as needed, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards. Maintain and repair industrial motor control equipment and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in residential automation systems. Conduct routine electrical maintenance to prevent system failures and ensure ongoing safety and functionality of electrical systems. Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures during all phases of work while maintaining a clean and organized work environment on construction sites or residential properties. Experience Proven experience as a residential electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems including high-voltage wiring and motor control equipment. Hands-on experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and building plans with precision. Familiarity with electrical building codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations ensuring all work is compliant. Skilled in using hand tools (wire strippers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and testing instruments (voltmeter, ammeter). Construction site experience with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Ability to perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely while adhering to NFPA 70 compliance standards for residential environments.
