Lead Service Electrician Residential and Commercial Steady - Design Build Commercial Contractor Westlake Village, CA Job Details Full-time $40 - $45 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Certified Electrical Inspector (CEI) Customer communication Pricing Working as an electrician Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) Power distribution system installation Working on electrical estimation projects Electrical maintenance Technical troubleshooting support High-voltage system installation Lighting system installation Full Job Description Lead Service Electrician / Field Estimator $40-45/hour + Performance Incentives We are building our electrical service division and looking for an experienced Service Electrician / Field Estimator who can independently handle residential and commercial service calls from start to finish. This is more than an installation position. We need someone who can diagnose the problem, determine the solution, estimate the work, communicate confidently with the customer, and perform the work. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and diagnose residential and commercial electrical issues Perform electrical repairs, installations and service work Evaluate jobs and determine labor and material requirements Prepare field estimates and recommendations Explain repair options and pricing professionally to customers Perform panel, breaker, circuit, lighting, receptacle and service work Read plans, diagrams and specifications when required Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate with the office Ensure work complies with NEC and applicable California codes Work independently and manage service calls from start to finish What We're Looking For 3-5 years of lead electrical experience preferred Strong residential and commercial service experience Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Strong knowledge of NEC and applicable electrical codes Experience estimating electrical repairs and smaller projects Professional, customer-focused communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal field supervision Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to pass a background check Professional references Reliable work truck or van strongly preferred We encourage continuing education. The following certifications are a plus but not required: California General Electrician Certification OSHA 10 or
OSHA 30 NFPA 70E
training CPR / First Aid / AED EVITP certification Manufacturer certifications — Tesla, ChargePoint, Enphase, Generac Compensation & Opportunity $40-45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Performance incentives may also be available based on estimating, sales, customer service and overall department performance. This is an opportunity to get involved early in a growing electrical service department. We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the technical side of the operation and grow with the department as we expand. If you can troubleshoot it, estimate it, explain it, and perform it — we want to talk to you.
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
