Job Description
Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a farmer-owned agricultural cooperative with food production and distribution facilities across the West Coast, is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Journey-Level Electrician for our Woodland, CA Distribution Center. PCP invests in its people and fosters a culture of service, helping bring affordable, high-quality food to customers across North America. Our Woodland Distribution Center is a new 500,000 sq. ft. packaging, labeling, and distribution facility supporting retail and foodservice customers. With advanced technology and a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, the DC is a model for excellence in distribution and logistics.
Install, connect, adjust and calibrate electrical gauges and recording instruments.
Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on specs and codes.
Use a variety of tools or equipment, such as power construction equipment, measuring devices and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, or test lamps.
Possess demonstrable skills for specifying and properly sizing of wire, conduit, circuit breakers and fuses per NEC and other applicable codes.
Read and understand blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components.
Able to understand and utilize PLC programs to aid in troubleshooting.
Perform other duties as assigned.

AutoCAD experience for creating electrical drawings.
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively.
Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Pay Rate:
$41.00 per hour. Full time/40 hours per week with some weekend and overtime hours required when needed. These positions are part of a seniority based collective bargaining unit and require work on various shifts with potential for a great deal of overtime during the processing season.Primary job duties would include:

Job Requirements:
Completed a related educational degree, certificate, or program; and/or comparable work experience, plus formal training in this areaHolds applicable licensing and certificate(s)A fundamental aptitude, which may be assessed by a practical exam.Experience in food production and manufacturing environment Able to understand and utilize PLC programs to aid in troubleshooting.
