Job Description

Residential Service Electrician - $90K-$150K+ | No Corporate BS | Great Leads Golden, CO | Locally Owned Electrical + HVAC Company Tired of the Corporate BS? Tired of private-equity-owned shops, layers of management, scripts for everything, and feeling like you're just another number? We're not that company. Singletrack Home Services is a locally owned and operated Electrical + HVAC company based in Golden. We're looking for an experienced Residential Service Electrician who knows how to troubleshoot, communicate with homeowners, and turn good service calls into good jobs. Performance-Based Compensation — $90,000-$150,000+ If you're a strong service electrician who likes being rewarded for what you produce, this is that kind of opportunity. You'll be the primary technician on your calls . We provide the opportunities—you diagnose the problem, educate the customer, present options, and help them decide what makes sense for their home. Why Good Service Techs Like Working Here No corporate BS No private equity ownership Performance-based compensation Quality inbound service calls You run your own calls as the primary technician Direct access to the owner—no layers of management Opportunity to sell and perform larger residential electrical projects You're trusted to do your job without someone constantly looking over your shoulder Small team where your performance actually gets noticed Your ideas and field experience matter We're big enough to keep you busy but small enough that you're still a person here, not a technician number on a spreadsheet. What You'll Be Doing This is primarily a residential service and sales position , not a construction electrician position.
You'll:
Run residential electrical service calls Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems Perform repairs and upgrades Identify legitimate electrical safety issues and improvement opportunities Explain your findings clearly to homeowners Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options Build estimates and help customers move forward Manage your truck, materials, and daily workflow Deliver the kind of customer experience that generates 5-star reviews and repeat business We're Looking for a Service Electrician, Not Just an Installer You should be comfortable talking with homeowners. We want someone who can walk into a house, diagnose what's happening, earn the customer's trust, explain the options, and confidently ask for the work. You don't need to be a high-pressure salesperson—and we don't want high-pressure sales tactics. We want a technician who understands that good service, good communication, and good sales go together. If you're accustomed to performance-based pay and like having control over what you earn, you'll understand this position. You May Be a
Great Fit If You:
Hold a Colorado RW or JW electrical license Have strong residential troubleshooting skills Have experience running residential service calls Are comfortable presenting options and asking for the sale Understand residential service sales Take pride in producing quality work Can manage yourself without constant supervision Are dependable and accountable Have a clean driving record Understand that taking care of the customer and producing revenue aren't mutually exclusive Experience with Blue Collar Success Group, Nexstar, CertainPath/SGI, CEO Warrior, ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar home-service systems is a definite plus. We Hire Experienced People and Let Them Do Their Jobs We're not looking to micromanage an experienced technician or tell you how to hold a screwdriver. If you know residential service, know how to take care of customers, and know how to produce, we'll give you room to do your job. We provide support and resources when they're useful, but we're not interested in burying experienced technicians in meetings and training just for the sake of training. And if you've learned better ways of doing things in the field, we want to hear them. Compensation & Benefits Performance-based compensation — $90,000-$150,000+ Commission-based earning opportunity Quality inbound leads and consistent service opportunities Health insurance Dental plan Retirement plan Paid holidays Your birthday is a paid holiday Up to 3 weeks paid vacation Company truck Team events and company outings Local ownership and accessible management The Kind of Person We're Looking For You probably already know whether you're a service electrician. You like troubleshooting. You like people. You like solving problems. And you like seeing a customer say yes after you've clearly explained what needs to be done. You also know that when you produce more, you should have the opportunity to earn more. You'd rather work somewhere that gives you good opportunities and trusts you to perform than for another giant home-service company obsessed with dashboards, scripts, quotas, and corporate meetings. If that sounds like you, apply. Already working somewhere else? That's fine. If you're a good service electrician and you're curious whether there's a better opportunity out there, let's have a confidential conversation. Singletrack Home Services - Golden, Colorado Locally owned. No private equity. No corporate BS. Good leads, good people, and an opportunity to make good money.
