Job Description

Experienced Underground Mine Electrician/Mechanic Location:

Jennmar Services JENNMAR Services is seeking an experienced Underground Mine Electrician/Mechanic to join our team in Jennmar Services. The ideal candidate will have strong underground mining electrical experience, including longwall systems, PLCs, and troubleshooting high-voltage mining equipment. Responsibilities Set up, troubleshoot, and repair low-voltage sensors Troubleshoot and work with PLC systems Diagnose and repair electrical systems from 110V to 4,160V Troubleshoot and repair underground mining equipment Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance Operate mining equipment as needed Assist with general manual labor and maintenance duties Follow all MSHA and site-specific safety requirements Qualifications 5+ years of electrical experience required Underground mining experience required Longwall experience required Current MSHA Electrical Card Must complete Experienced Miner Training prior to hire Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and understand electrical schematics Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team
