Greeley, Colorado Pay:

$30-$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications About the Position JuJu Electric is a small, family-owned electrical contracting company based in Greeley, Colorado . We primarily perform residential remodel and residential service work , including basements, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, repairs, troubleshooting, and upgrades. We also perform some commercial and industrial service work . At this time, we do not have ongoing commercial new-construction projects. We are looking for a knowledgeable, dependable Journeyman Wireman/Journeyman Electrician who can work independently, troubleshoot electrical problems, take pride in their work, and help guide and train apprentices.

Important:

This Is a Part-Time Position Hours are NOT guaranteed. Our workload changes constantly based on job demand. Some days may have only 2 hours of work , while other days may have 8-10 hours or more . If we have 40 hours of work available, we will make every effort to provide those hours to the right employee. However, we cannot guarantee 40 hours per week or any minimum number of hours. Some weeks may have substantially more work than others. If you require a guaranteed 40-hour workweek, this position is probably not the right fit. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with a part-time position with variable hours and is willing to take additional hours when work is available. Responsibilities Perform residential electrical remodel, service, repair, and installation work Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems Properly lay out residential electrical systems Read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams Apply NEC and Colorado electrical code requirements Install wiring, panels, breakers, lighting, receptacles, switches, and equipment Work in basements, attics, crawlspaces, and other challenging areas Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers Maintain a clean and safe work area Train and mentor apprentices Work independently and take responsibility for the quality of your work Perform occasional commercial and industrial service work as needed What We're Looking For We are looking for a Journeyman who has strong electrical knowledge and good problem-solving skills , not someone who simply knows how to pull wire.

Qualifications Required:

Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician/Wireman license Electrical experience, preferably including residential remodel and service work Valid driver's license Clean driving record Ability to maintain your electrical license Ability to pass a background check Company Vehicles Employees must maintain a clean driving record to be eligible to operate a company vehicle. When assigned a company vehicle, the workday starts and ends at our Greeley shop . Company vehicles are not taken home by employees. Compensation & Benefits $30-$45 per hour , based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability.
