Full-Time Join Our Growing Standby Generator Team We are seeking an experienced, currently licensed Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in Longmont, Colorado. Our company specializes in the standby generator market , including generator sales, installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and parts support . We are looking for a dependable electrician who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and working in the field rather than spending every day on a new-construction jobsite. This position is primarily field-based, and you should expect to work outdoors approximately 90% of the time in a variety of Colorado weather conditions. What You'll Be Doing Perform electrical work associated with residential standby generator installations. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems related to generators, transfer switches, controls, and associated equipment. Perform electrical service and maintenance work. Install and modify electrical circuits, conduit, wiring, disconnects, transfer switches, and related equipment. Diagnose electrical and generator-related issues in residential settings. Work with customers professionally and represent the company in the field. Follow applicable electrical codes, manufacturer requirements, and company safety procedures. Work independently as well as collaboratively with other technicians and installers. Participate in ongoing generator-specific and manufacturer training opportunities. What We're Looking For Current Colorado Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license is required. We are not hiring unlicensed electrician positions at this time . Experience with electrical service work and troubleshooting is strongly preferred. Residential electrical experience is preferred. Generator experience is a plus, but not required . Willingness to learn the standby generator industry and manufacturer-specific systems. Comfortable working outdoors approximately 90% of the time. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work safely and independently in residential environments. Professional communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Ability to perform the physical requirements of field electrical work, including lifting equipment and working in varying weather conditions.
