$38.00 - $44.00 / hour (DOE) +

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, PTO Position Overview Premier electrical contractor with 35+ years in business is seeking licensed Journeyman Electricians to lead small site crews and perform commercial, healthcare, and industrial electrical installations across CT and Westchester County, NY. Key Responsibilities Layout, plan, and execute electrical installations using design drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Lead and supervise small work crews on commercial, industrial, and healthcare jobsites. Install, repair, and test wiring, lighting, switchgear, and conductive elements to ensure compliance with local/national codes. Maintain accountability for site tools, equipment, and materials; strictly adhere to company safety policies (Haz-Com, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space).
Core Requirements & Vetting Criteria Licensing:
Active State of Connecticut Journeyman Electrical License (E-2 or E-1) required.
Credentials:
Valid Driver's License (clean record); must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening.
Capabilities:
Comfort working at heights (ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts) and in restricted/confined spaces; able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Certifications:
OSHA 30 and
NFPA 70E
strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong blueprint reading, conductor phasing/color code identification, and crew communication skills.
