Electrical / Controls (Commercial, Industrial) Job Overview Collier Electrical Corp is seeking skilled and dependable Journeyman Electricians (E-1 or E-2 license) to join our Field Operations team. In this hands-on role, you will perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of commercial and industrial job sites throughout Connecticut. Ideal candidates will bring a solid work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and the drive to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently. Travel to job sites is required, using company-provided vans. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on commercial and industrial projects Work with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute installations accurately Collaborate with fellow journeymen and apprentices on job sites to ensure work is completed on time and up to code Maintain safety standards at all times, using proper PPE and following OSHA/compliance guidelines Use personal hand tools and company-provided equipment as needed to perform work Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams Complete daily logs and provide updates on project status as required Qualifications Valid State of Connecticut E-1 or E-2 Electrical License (required) Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work preferred High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record Able to pass a background check in compliance with applicable laws Strong communication and teamwork skills Own basic electrical tools Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Life and Disability Insurance Options Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Days, Holidays) Retirement Savings Program Weekly Pay Cycle Prevailing Wage Projects Paid Training and Certifications Apprenticeship / Mentorship Opportunities Company Vehicle for Job Travel Uniforms and Safety Equipment Provided Annual Company Trips and Events Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday with potential for overtime and weekend work Work Location Projects throughout Connecticut Travel required to job sites using company vehicles Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
