Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant electrical operations, supporting our ongoing projects and facility needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver top-quality results. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in residential and commercial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations. Perform renovation and construction tasks involving electrical systems, including framing carpentry as needed for fixture installation. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Skills Extensive experience as an industrial electrician with knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installation and troubleshooting. Strong hands-on skills with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment like ohmmeters. Construction site experience with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or new installations. Knowledge of NEC standards to ensure code-compliant work practices. Ability to perform framing carpentry tasks related to electrical fixtures or conduit supports.
