Role Description The Journeyperson role is a full-time, on-site position based in Magnolia, DE. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial settings, as well as troubleshooting electrical issues and performing service calls as needed. The Journeyperson will interpret electrical drawings and blueprints, ensure work complies with relevant codes and safety standards, and collaborate with other team members and supervisors on new construction and service projects. The role may involve participating in on-call rotations to support 24/7 emergency service and maintaining clear documentation of work performed. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for residential and commercial projects. Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical documentation. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safe work practices. Effective problem-solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills in the field. Reliable communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and with a crew. Valid journeyperson-level electrical license or certification for Delaware, or eligibility to obtain it. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites within Delaware. Physical ability to perform manual work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments. Previous experience with service work, new construction, and emergency response is preferred. Commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and delivering quality workmanship to customers.
