Job Description:
The Electrical Foreman provides field leadership and oversight for electrical construction activities, directing crews and coordinating work to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and applicable electrical codes. This role serves as a key field leader, supporting quality execution, resolving jobsite challenges, and keeping electrical work aligned with overall project objectives. Responsibilities Leads and coordinates electrical construction activities, including building raceways, pulling wire, and terminating electrical runs. Supervises and directs assigned craft workers, providing guidance and resolving technical and field-related issues. Tests, troubleshoots, and evaluates electrical systems to ensure proper operation and performance. Reads and interprets blueprints, electrical diagrams, and job orders to determine project scope, layout, sequencing, and requirements. Inspects completed and in-progress work to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable electrical codes. Develops and adjusts crew assignments and work schedules to support project milestones and construction timelines. Coordinates materials, equipment, and manpower needs to maintain productivity and minimize delays. Completes daily construction reports and required project documentation. Promotes and enforces company safety policies, procedures, and jobsite standards. Performs other duties as required.Skills & Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of electrical controls and distribution wiring. Intermediate ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Advanced ability to use the various tools required for the trade. Intermediate written and oral communications skills. Intermediate organizational and planning skills.Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Local certifications and licenses as requires. 4 years experience as a journeyman electrician. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.Amount of Travel Required:
20%- 40%
