About the Role We are seeking a skilled Automation and Systems Electrician to join our maintenance team, ensuring the seamless operation of our high-speed production environment. You will play a critical role in maximizing equipment uptime by performing advanced diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on critical electrical infrastructure and control systems. Responsibilities Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical circuitry, power distribution systems, and motor control centers to ensure operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement by troubleshooting and optimizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) to minimize downtime. Interpret intricate technical manuals, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions. Manage material procurement and maintenance documentation through our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Perform precision soldering and component replacement to restore equipment to peak performance standards. Operate specialized aerial equipment, including bucket trucks and man-lifts, to safely access and maintain overhead electrical systems. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within an industrial setting. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting discrete and analog devices using RSLogix5 and RSLogix500 software. Strong ability to diagnose complex electrical faults using advanced test equipment and technical service documentation. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Skills Formal technical training or certification in industrial electrical systems. Proven track record of success in high-volume food or beverage manufacturing environments. Experience with advanced motor control systems, switchgear, and high-voltage distribution.
