Superior Skilled Trades is seeking High Power Electricians for an immediate start in Cape Canaveral, FL.
PAY:
$48/hr + $140/day per diem
HOURS:
Expected shifts will be 10+ hours per day
SCHEDULE
Expected work will be Monday-Friday; approximately 50+ hours/week

This is anticipated to be a 3+ month contract position
High Power Electrician Job Description:
Perform installation, termination, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-power and high-voltage electrical systems. Install and terminate power distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, panels, disconnects, conduit, cable tray, power cables, and control wiring. Read blueprints, schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical drawings. Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, grounding and bonding, conduit bending, cable routing, and equipment installation while following NEC, OSHA, LOTO, and site-specific safety requirements. Qualifications for
High Power Electrician:
5+ years of industrial, commercial, aerospace, manufacturing, power generation, or similar electrical experience preferred Previous high-voltage and high-power electrical experience required Experience with switchgear, transformers, distribution panels, disconnects, motors, VFDs, and power distribution systems Experience installing and terminating large-gauge conductors and electrical cables Strong conduit bending, cable routing, troubleshooting, and electrical testing skills Ability to read electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings Strong knowledge of NEC, grounding, bonding, Arc Flash, PPE, and LOTO procedures Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification preferred Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and electrical testing equipment Must be able to work at heights, on ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Must have a valid driver's license Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves. Must have standard electrical hand tools. Additional Requirements for
High Power Electrician:
Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
