Florida's leading solar and battery installer, is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Residential Battery Installers to join our growing team in Cape Coral. In this role, you will install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot residential battery energy storage systems. We're looking for installers with strong electrical experience who can deliver safe, clean, code-compliant installations while providing a professional customer experience. This is a pay-per-install position, giving experienced installers the opportunity to increase earnings based on completed installation volume. Duties Install residential battery energy storage systems according to electrical plans, schematics, manufacturer specifications, and engineering requirements Retrofit battery systems onto new and existing residential solar systems Install and connect inverters, gateways, disconnects, breakers, electrical equipment, and related components Perform AC/DC electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot system issues Use multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals Commission and test battery systems to verify proper operation Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic components as needed Perform service and maintenance on residential battery and solar equipment Complete required installation photos, documentation, and job-site reporting Follow NEC, Florida electrical/building codes, manufacturer requirements, and all company safety procedures Explain basic system operation to homeowners and provide excellent customer service Qualifications Proven residential electrical installation or service technician experience Solar and/or residential battery installation experience required Experience with Tesla Powerwall, Enphase, FranklinWH, or similar battery energy storage systems preferred Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams Experience using multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical diagnostic equipment Knowledge of inverters, electrical panels, breakers, disconnects, networking, and monitoring equipment Florida licenses or certifications applicable to the work being performed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work safely in attics, garages, outdoors, and other residential installation environments Professional communication and customer service skills This position is paid per completed battery installation. Compensation is based on the type and scope of the installation, allowing experienced installers to earn more based on installation volume.
