Electrician (5 - 7yrs of experience): New construction project based work $28 - $30 per hour Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and industry regulations, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. Duties Bend and install EMT conduit Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues. Work on low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Collaborate with construction teams, including frame carpenters and other tradespeople, to ensure seamless project execution on construction sites. Conduct safety inspections and ensure all electrical work adheres to local codes and safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and maintenance logs. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and NEC standards. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices. Experience working on construction sites with the ability to read technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with safety protocols. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications related to construction or high voltage work are a plus.
