Residential Service & Installation Electrician A Residential Service & Installation Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing residential electrical systems and equipment. This position works directly in customers' homes and requires strong electrical troubleshooting skills, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service. Duties include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing repairs and upgrades, installing and replacing electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, dedicated circuits, generators, EV chargers, and other residential electrical equipment. The electrician will evaluate existing electrical systems, identify needed repairs or safety concerns, and clearly communicate findings and recommended solutions to homeowners.
Qualified applicants must possess:
Minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience performing residential electrical repairs, service, replacements, and installations Working knowledge of electrical codes and safety requirements Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and explain recommended repairs and solutions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Self-motivated and dependable Ability to bend, climb ladders, work in attics and other confined areas, and lift materials and equipment over 25 lbs. Valid driver's license preferred
