Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various environments, including residential, commercial, and renovation sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools and power tools across multiple project sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute electrical work. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper installation and safety protocols are followed according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and general handyman duties related to electrical components. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, photos, and compliance documentation. Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Proven experience as an residential, commercial, and remodel electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance. Knowledge of generator installation, repair, and maintenance is highly desirable. Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. Valid driver's license with good driving record Ability to work with both low voltage and high voltage systems safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of NEC standards and local electrical codes. Previous experience in renovation projects or construction environments is preferred. Additional skills such as frame carpentry or handyman experience are a plus but not required.
