In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical infrastructure in both commercial and industrial environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from blueprint reading to troubleshooting complex electrical issues, all while adhering to safety standards and building codes. Responsibilities Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience in residential new construction electrical work Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and layouts Experience running NM cable, installing boxes, drilling studs, and roughing in houses Knowledge of proper wire routing, stapling, and code-compliant installations Experience setting panels, trimming devices, and installing fixtures Strong familiarity with NEC requirements and basic electrical code knowledge Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Must have reliable transportation to job sites Must have basic hand tools required for electrical work Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders for extended periods Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail required Ability to follow directions and maintain a clean and organized work area Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and electrical blueprints to accurately execute installation plans. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or industrial facilities. Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters to ensure proper functionality and compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering strictly to safety protocols for each voltage level. Collaborate with construction teams including frame carpenters and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of electrical components. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and issues identified for future reference or compliance audits. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Hands-on experience with low voltage and high voltage wiring installations. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations and safety standards for electrical work. Ability to operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills and saws; as well as testing instruments like ohmmeters and ammeters. Construction site experience demonstrating the ability to work safely in dynamic environments while managing multiple tasks. Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems used in security alarms, communication networks, or automation controls is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose electrical issues efficiently using testing equipment. Physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks over extended periods.
