Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. programming VFD's, programming drives, running conduit and power to new equipment, replacing electrical hardware Perform electrical troubleshooting Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Read and interpret electrical schematics and PLC programs Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry function Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Perform all other duties as assigned or needed which will include operating production equipment, stacking, and inventory control Fluent in English Bilingual in Spanish a plus 5 + years manufacturing experience preferably in a paper converting/corrugated environment Knowledge of basic tools, power tools, electrical meters, pneumatic blue print reading, hydraulic blue print reading, and electrical schematic reading Knowledge of basic pneumatic & hydraulic blue print reading and electrical schematic reading Knowledge in the following programs: Lenz Global, RS logic 5,500 and 5,000, Workshop 505, Siemens Step 7 Ability to work in fast-paced environment Good interpersonal skills Highly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated individual (proactive attitude) Lean Management Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting Ability to perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Ability to deal with various situations Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Must be able to perform repairs unsupervised, troubleshoot intermediate electrical issues and repair.
