This is a standard position description to be used for positions with similar duties, responsibilities, classification, and compensation. Employees assigned to this position description will perform all of the essential functions indicated herein. Part I:
Position Summary Coordinates, installs, maintains, and repairs commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems, power distribution equipment, lighting, and specialized electrical controls. Performs technical analysis of electrical malfunctions, plans corrective action, and evaluates operational requirements. Ensures all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local building codes.
