We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist electricians in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This role is essential in ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely and efficiently on residential properties, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Candidates should possess a basic understanding of electrical systems and be eager to learn from experienced electricians. Responsibilities Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Help with low voltage wiring for various applications, including lighting and communication systems. Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test electrical systems for functionality. Support the team in adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installations. Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed for electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including experience as a commercial or residential electrician is preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Experience with low voltage systems is a plus. Proficiency in using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to electrical work.
