Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and safety procedures. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete installations and repairs with precision. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure quality workmanship during construction or renovation projects. Skills Proven experience as a residential electrician Strong understanding of electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting techniques, and system repairs. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes. Experience working on low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and high-voltage wiring when necessary. Skilled in using testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters for diagnosing issues. Excellent knowledge of electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment at all times. Construction site experience including renovation projects and general handyman skills is a plus.
