Job Description

Overview The Key West Housing Authority is seeking a skilled Electrician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems across our residential properties and administrative facilities. What You'll Do Install, maintain, and repair wiring, panels, lighting, and control systems. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues quickly and safely. Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections. Read and interpret schematics, and technical diagrams. Ensure compliance with NEC, HQS, and all safety protocols. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. 3+ years of electrical experience (residential or multi-family preferred). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid Florida Driver's License. Knowledge of NEC, local codes, and safety standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
