Job Description

Prieto Electric is a fast growing company with fresh opportunity to create an amazing, long lasting career. We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Electrician with 5+ years high-voltage, residential/commercial experience, that can perform duties without supervision and with utmost attention to detail.
MUST HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY TO WORK COMPLEX PROJECTS UNSUPERVISED. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LEAD ELECTRICIAN INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
: Preparing and assembling conduits and connecting wiring through them. Replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. Troubleshoot common and uncommon electrical problems, identify and implement appropriate solutions Repair and/or substitute damaged units/components (i.e switches, fans, etc.) Read, understand, and execute electrical wiring plans for various electrical systems (lighting, alarms, etc.) Install safety and distribution components (i.e. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.) Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components Job Locations include, but are not limited to: Single, multi-family homes, vacation residences. Apartments, condos, hotels. Other types of residences located within the confines of a residential area as defined by the state. Commercial buildings (warehouses, showrooms, etc.) Most work locations are anywhere from Marco Island up north to Ft. Myers (Naples, Bonita Springs, etc.) depending on project.
JOB EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver's License Work Authorization Neat and professional appearance. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic English required, Spanish a plus (Hablamos español) Proven experience as an electrician a must. Knowledge in low voltage and high voltage installations. Must understand electrical drawings and blueprints National Electric Code knowledge Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines. Possible weekend work available with overtime.
