Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment using schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems utilizing multimeters such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments. Repair and replace faulty components including motors, sensors, switches, valves, and wiring in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications. Operate and maintain equipment such as scissor lifts and other field service tools safely and efficiently. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial control systems, HVAC/R units, and high-voltage electrical systems. Conduct welding—including stick welding—and mechanical repairs to ensure equipment durability and safety. Diagnose issues related to HVAC systems, hydraulics, low voltage electrical circuits, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime. Support engineering troubleshooting efforts by analyzing system performance data and implementing corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and safety standards. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in using CMMS software for maintenance planning and record-keeping. Solid background in electrical diagnostics including troubleshooting electrical systems with voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems along with the ability to perform repairs or adjustments as needed. Skilled in mechanical repair techniques including precision measurement with tools like calipers or micrometers; welding skills especially stick welding; hydraulic system troubleshooting; pneumatic system analysis; and equipment repair. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician experience, high voltage safety protocols, low voltage control circuits, and electrical blueprint reading. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely for field service tasks while adhering to safety standards. Strong analytical skills combined with excellent customer service orientation when working with internal teams or external vendors. Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
