POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title:
Traveling Journeyman Electrician (Nationwide) Seeking qualified journeyman electrician candidates for various locations across the country. We currently have projects in the federal, military, and healthcare sectors. Join our team of highly experienced professionals and develop your career! Our experience has allowed us to tackle some of the most challenging multi-million-dollar infrastructure/cabling projects within the industrial, commercial & civil business sectors. With our team of qualified project managers and supervisors, we can handle multi-faceted projects from pre-construction to complete turnkey solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Accurately install conduit - This is the primary skillset for this job!
  • Read and follow blueprints during construction process.
  • Measure, bend, cut, thread, ream, assemble, and install rigid and EMT conduit.
  • Must have experience with hydraulic benders, (i.e., able to run bigger sizes of conduit)
  • Must have experience with the installation and termination of panels, switchgear, transfer switches, transformers, etc.
  • Must be able to correctly set up and pull wire based on blueprints.
  • Must be able to install all devices, light fixtures.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and fix problems as they arise.
  • Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code during installation process.
Experience:
  • At least 4 years of related commercial experience.
  • Understand blueprints or technical diagrams to determine location of circuits, outlets, and other equipment.
  • Proficient in layout and installation.
Requirements:
  • Have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Have tools of the trades. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug testing.
  • Must be able to meet all new hire requirements set by E-Verify
  • A college degree or technical training is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus.
