An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Repair and replace wiring. Pull conduit Must be able to bend and install pipe efficiently and pull wire Read blueprints and schematics. Document repairs and modifications. Manage and mentor apprentice electricians. Work with architects, contractors, and clients. Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues. Prepare accurate field material lists to streamline procurement and prevent installation delays. Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers and circuit breakers. Stay apprised of revisions to National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.Electrician Qualifications/Skills:
Ability to run conduit. Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients. Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes. Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products. Use of testing equipment and hand tools. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:
2-3 years residential, commercial or industrial electrical experience. Experience with new builds, renovations and historical restoration projects. High school diploma or GED. Driver's license with good driving record. Possession of reliable transportation along with complete personal hand tools and basic power tools.Job Type:
