Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70 standards, and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring installations and maintenance for industrial machinery and systems. Diagnose electrical issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify faults in complex electrical systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage circuits. Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to install electrical infrastructure aligned with project specifications. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure ongoing safety compliance. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes. Skilled in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and blueprints reading for accurate installation and troubleshooting. Proficiency with electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; experience with power tools is essential. Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently while adhering to safety procedures related to electrical safety protocols. Construction site experience or renovation projects involving electrical work is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail; handyman or general construction experience is a plus.
