Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician with experience in water/wastewater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in water/wastewater. Typical Work week is Monday through Thursday 7:00- 4:00, Friday 7:00-1:00 Insurance Allowance after 60 days Sick time earned from date of hire, available for use after 60 days Paid Holidays Paid Vacation after 1 year
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in industrial settings
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine wiring layouts
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Industrial Electrician
- In-depth knowledge of low voltage systems, power distribution, and industrial electrical equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively (threader, smart bender)
- Work with team to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other project documents
- Periodically coordinate with subcontractors
