An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Execute general and preventative mechanical maintenance in designated facility areas
- Maintain compliance with all documentation, safety, and operational protocols
- Work flexibly across different areas of the facility as assigned
- Appropriately utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate effectively with all departments and support supervisory direction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas, demonstrating adherence to 5S.
- Transport tools and equipment as needed for job tasks
- Ensure all work sites are maintained for cleanliness and safety during and after job completion
- Communicate potential or actual downtime to affected departments to ensure proactive response
- Accurately complete required documentation for tasks and maintenance work
- Exhibit professional behavior aligned with company policies and values
- Practice strong communication with team members to ensure tasks are clearly understood and completed
- Maintain consistent, reliable attendance per company policy
- Prioritize safety for self, colleagues, and product integrity at all times Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman's License (required minimum for this role)
- Demonstrated strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective planning and organizational abilities
- Outstanding safety, attendance, and work performance record
- Strong computer skills and comfort with maintenance software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently
- Flexible and willing to work extended hours or off-shifts as required
- Positive attitude toward change and continuous improvement
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Willingness to cross-train and support multiple departments
- Openness to attend work-team meetings during non-standard hours
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and take on new tasks
- Willingness to assist maintenance specialists and contribute wherever needed Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of experience in a related electrical or mechanical field or equivalent combination of training and experience
- High school diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant industrial experience
- Certificate in Industrial Electronics or a related technical discipline
- Openness to off-shift training, classes, and seminars as needed
