•39.00 per hour Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Advanced Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team on the night shift. This is a highly skilled position responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems, automation, and controls. The ideal candidate will have strong experience troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment, PLCs, AC/DC drives, and automated machinery, along with the ability to read electrical schematics and effectively diagnose complex equipment issues. Key Responsibilities Build, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical control systems associated with new and existing industrial machinery. Troubleshoot and maintain industrial automation and control systems. Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain AC and DC drives. Diagnose electrical and controls-related equipment failures and make necessary repairs or adjustments. Utilize the CMMS/ER Portal to open, perform, document, and complete work orders assigned by the Group Leader or Planner/Scheduler. Collaborate with maintenance electricians, maintenance technicians, contract integrators, and engineers on equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repairs. Read, interpret, and develop electrical schematic diagrams related to ladder logic, electrical device installation, and equipment functionality. Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and maintenance standards. Properly utilize electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve equipment issues. Preferred Technical Experience Experience with the following systems and technologies is highly desirable: Rockwell Logix 5000 software Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs Allen-Bradley 700/750 Series Drives Siemens S120 Series Drives Siemens 6RA Series DC Drives Siemens S7 Series PLCs Llumin CMMS AutoCAD Electrical Testing & Diagnostic Equipment Candidates must be proficient in the proper use of electrical testing and diagnostic instruments, including: Fluke multimeters Fluke amp meters Fluke oscilloscopes Fluke megohmmeters Fluke Type J and Type K thermometers Fluke infrared temperature guns QualificationsEducation High school diploma or GED required. Completion of basic electronics coursework through a college or technical program required. Degree or equivalent training in Industrial Electronics Maintenance Technology preferred. Experience Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical trade, including completion of an apprenticeship. Strong knowledge of electrical trade practices, methods, tools, equipment, and materials. Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, locate, and correct defects in electrical systems and equipment. Proficiency using and maintaining electrical trade tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and sketches. Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions. Physical & Working Conditions This position requires working in an industrial manufacturing environment and may involve: Frequent sitting, crawling, standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, crouching, kneeling, and climbing. Frequently lifting and carrying 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lifting more than 50 lbs. Frequently pushing and pulling 10-50 lbs. and occasionally pushing or pulling more than 50 lbs. Working on a night shift schedule as part of a 12-hour continental shift rotation.
